Mokslas, mokslinis požiūris ir racionalizmas
Paskaitos metu, svečias iš Suomijos, "Rationalist International" prezidentas, 25 knygų autorius, Sanal Edamaruku pristatys mokslo ir kritinio mąstymo svarbą jaunimui. Bus aptariami racionalizmą ir skepticizmą pagrindžiantys argumentai, pristatomos veiklos kuriomis užsiima Sanal ir "Rationalist International". Sanal Edamaruku pasidalins savo, kaip racionalisto, asmenine gyvenimo istorija Indijoje - visuomenėje, kurioje paplitę pseudomokslai ir prietarai. Paskaitos metu bus galima užduoti klausimus pranešėjui. Paskaita bus anglų kalba.
Renginys vyks Kauno Technologijos universitete, elektronikos fakultete. Vietų skaičius ribotas, todėl prašome registruotis jei tikrai planuojate dalyvauti renginyje.

In this free lecture Sanal Edamaruku will present the importance of science and critical thinking to youngsters. Sanal Edamaruku is the president "Rationalist International" and is known for being the author of 25 books. During the lecture the guest from Finland will introduce the importance of science and critical thinking to the audience. Moreover, arguments supporting rationalism and skepticism will be justified. Sanal Edamaruku will share his personal story of being a rationalist in an Indian society where there is a lot of of pseudo-science and superstition. Participants will also be able to ask questions during the lecture. The lecture will be in English.
The event will take place in Kaunas University of Technology, inside the faculty of Electronic sciences. Since there are only limited number of seats available in the audience, please register if you are sure about the participation.
