Schlag: Ethan Fawkes
„Schlag“ yra EBM bei aštresniems šokių muzikos paribiams dedikuota serija, ir vargu ar koks nors elektronikos kūrėjas turėjo aštresnę karjeros pradžią nei Ethan Fawkes, kuris inspiruotas „Nirvana“ ar „Sepultura“ išmoko groti gitara, o tuomet perėjo prie acidcore. Tačiau branda ir amžius ilgainiui atlikėjui pridėjo ramybės – jeigu techno, EBM ir elektro lydinį galima pavadinti ramybe. Tačiau ko nepridėjo – tai tingumo. Per ketvertą metų Ethan Fawkes sugebėjo išleisti porą albumų ir 41 singlą. Štai kas nutinka, kai karjerą pradedi nuo acidcore. Rekomenduojame.

"Schlag" is our series dedicated to EBM and electronic avantgarde, described as poignant or even severe. Though they don't come more severe than Ethan Fawkes, who learned to play guitar inspired by "Nirvana" and "Sepultura," and then turned towards acidcore. Later, maturity brought him towards more peaceful territories, if you can call a fusion of techno, EBM, and electro a more peaceful territory. In only four years Ethan Fawkes has released two albums and forty-one single. That's what happens when you start your career with acidcore. We do approve.
