APIE TRAD.ATTACK!

Trad.Attack! aukštyn kojom apvertė Estijos muzikos pasaulį, į didžiąsias scenas grąžindami tradicinę muziką.

Nors grupės nariai tik trys, bet išgirdus jų sukuriamą skambesį galėtum pagalvoti, jog scenoje kur kas daugiau žmonių. Paprastai jų dainos prasideda tarsi išblukusiais senovės kaimo žmonių balsais, iš lėto, kol įsibėgėja į pilną, plačią ir užburiančią melodiją, kuri vargiai gali palikti abejingų.

Prieš susiburiant į Trad.Attack! visi trys grupės nariai apie 15 metų aktyviai kūrė ir dalyvavo Estijos muzikos scenoje. Kaip patys sako, tai turėjo būti „paprastas, smagus eksperimentas“. Niekas nesitikėjo tokios sėkmės. Nuo pat pirmojo savo singlo, o vėliau ir dviejų albumų - jie nepailstamai keliauja po pasaulį su savo muzika. 

Per pirmąjį koncertą grupė prasitarė turinti planą pakoncertuoti visose pasaulio šalyse. Per keturis metus apkeliavo 36 šalis, teliko 160…

ABOUT TRAD.ATTACK!

Trad.Attack! has really turned Estonian music scene upside down by bringing traditional music to the big stages, building modern world around its archaic sounds.

It is often said that the band with its three members sounds so big that you would think there are many more people on the stage. They take traditional songs - sometimes starting with scratchy recordings of long vanished village voices - and build pulsating rhythmic structures, creating an impressively big sound.

All three band members grew up with music around them and each had been active on the Estonian music scene for more than 15 years before they started Trad.Attack!. In the beginning it was meant to be just simple, fun and experimental. Surprisingly for the band they became a hit in Estonia. Since releasing their two albums Trad.Attack! are travelling all over the world with their music.

At their first concert the band made a joke about having a master plan to play in every country in the world. Within 4 years Trad.Attack! has toured in 36 countries. There are only 160 more to go…
