Šis projektas yra choreografo Emanuelio Gato ir Kauno šokio teatro „Aura“ šokėjų bendradarbiavimo rezultatas. Tai asmeninė vienuolikos asmenų, ieškančių ryšio, kelionė. Sudėtinga choreografinė struktūra ir kartu iki esminių elementų redukuotas šokis, kai šokėjai „varo“ kūrinį ir atkuria jį kiekvieną kartą iš naujo, nagrinėdami atlikėjo, kaip scenos, gyvo kūrėjo, vaidmenį.
Emanuelis Gatas gimė Izraelyje ir pirmiausia šoko Liat Dror Nir Ben Gal trupėje, o 1994 m. pradėjo dirbti kaip nepriklausomas choreografas. Jo trupė "Emanuel Gat Dance" įsikūrusi Marselyje, Prancūzijoje. Dėl savo unikalaus ir asmeniško požiūrio į choreografiją ir šokio kūrimą Emanuelis Gat laikomas vienu iš pirmaujančių ir produktyviausių šiuo metu dirbančių Europos choreografų. Per pastaruosius 25 metus Emanuelio Gato darbai buvo pristatyti daugelyje svarbiausių pasaulio šokio scenų ir festivalių.

"The loop" is the result of a collaboration between Emanuel Gat and the company dancers.
The dancers fill the stage in a frantic succession of choreographic fragments evolving through various constellations, formats, musical environments and choreographic procedures.
"The loop" is in many ways a reaction to the changing times and to the constant evolution of how dance, and art in general, is being created and produced. It is an attempt to question old boundaries and hierarchies, to foster a new redistribution of artistic responsibilities and resources.
Emanuel Gat was born in Israel and first danced with the Liat Dror Nir Ben Gal Company before setting out as an independent choreographer in 1994. His company Emanuel Gat Dance is based in Marseilles, France. His unique and personal approach to choreography and dance making has him ranked as one of Europe's leading and most prolific choreographers working today. Over the past 25 years, Gat's work has been presented in most of the leading venues and festivals for dance worldwide.
