„Žirnis the Pea & his own Kingdom“  Aušros Kleizaitės paroda

Kas turėjo nors vieną šunį gyvenime – supras
Kieno nosis gražiausia pasaulyje? – Žirnio
Kieno marmūzė mylimiausia pasaulyje? – Žirnio
Kas moka geriausiai prajuokinti? – Žirnis
Kas labiausiai pasaulyje mėgsta petražoles? – Žirnis
Kas gali išgelbėti žmones nuo širšių? - Žirnis
Ši paroda – tai vizualus pasakojimas apie šuniuką Žirnį ir jo gyvenimą su keisčiausiais nutikimais. Apie taikų buvimą kartu su kita rūšimi. Apie santarvę, ramybę, džiaugsmą, kurį jaučiame. Jį mums dovanoja bendravimas su gyvūnais.

Kodėl apie Žirnį? Todėl, kad :
Taip smagu matyti jį laimingai išsitėškusį ant nugaros lovos vidury, kai sapnuodamas drebina kojytes ir šypsosi savo amerikoniškais dantimis.
Jis labai gerai išmano tekstilę, visada pasivagia aukščiausios kokybės vilnones ir pačias minkščiausias skaras. Jeigu ant grindų ar lovos palieku rūbus, ar, būna, patiesiu kokį naują audinį – Žirnis jau voliojasi ant jo tikrindamas kokybę.
Jis gali su svarmenimis dantyse įšokti į lovą, o ten, matyt, yra slapta jo treniruočių vieta. Po lova – yra Žirnio alternatyvus pasaulis su įvairių vilnonių audinių kolekcija. Ten kartais bausmę kuris nors iš Žirnio draugų, kurių yra keletas: Karvė, Asilas, Haskis, Varlė ir Pirštinė.
O dar tie rytiniai žaidimai lovoje – ‚tunelis‘ ir ‚šalikas‘. Arba šunų liaudies žaidimas ‚rankovė, rankovė‘.
Be to, jis labai geras mokytojas – kaip apsibrėžti savo teritoriją, kaip būti ištikimu savo pasirinkimuose, kaip siekti savo tikslo. O kur dar nepakeičiama kompanija.
Pradėjau piešti Žirnį, kai pandemijos metu man pasiūlė sudalyvauti parodose Prancūzijoje. Su kolegomis iš grupės Drawing Box sutarėme, kad formate A5 fiksuojame tą patį objektą 30 dienų, tada atrenkame šešis darbus ir eksponuojame parodose. Man net nekilo abejonių ką piešti.
Patys geriausi dalykai visada yra šalia.
Dažniausiai piešiu Žirnį rytais, prie kavos. Neapsimetinėjant, tie rytiniai prasipaišymai teikia tiek daug smagumo ir malonumo, dovanoja pabuvimą tiesiog čia ir dabar, paprastai, be pozų ir fanaberijų ir nesistengiant braidyti po ‚labai gilias upes‘. Bet jei kam nors atrodo, kad tai per daug paprasta – galiu pasakyt, kad tai yra ir labai sudėtinga. Tai Dievo kūrybos, gyvenimo ir gyvybės linijų grožis. Ir tos linijos vyniojasi lengvai ir nesinori jų apdėlioti žodžiais.Tiesiog iš meilės ir visos širdies. Žirniui!

Who has the most beautiful snout in the world? – Žirnis (Pea)

Who can save people from hornets? – ŽirnisThis exhibition is a visual story about a dog named Žirnis and his life, containing the most bizarre events. It’s about peaceful coexistence with other species. About the peace, calm, the joy we feel. All experienced when communicating with animals.Why about Žirnis?
Well, because:
It’s so fun seeing how happily he is lounging on his back in the middle of the bed, how he wiggles his legs when he’s dreaming and how he smiles with his white like “American“ teeth smile.
He is very knowledgeable when it comes to textiles and is a particular fan of stealing the softest scarves made from the highest quality wool. If I leave clothes behind on the floor or the bed, or if sometimes I lay down a new piece of fabric, Žirnis is the first roll around on it, checking out the quality.
He can jump on the bed with weights in between his teeth, it must be his secret workout area. Under the bed, you’ll find Žirns’ alternative world with a collection of various woollen textiles/fabrics. From time to time you might find one of Žirnis’ many friends trapped there, either Cow, Donkey, Huskey, Frog or the Glove.
Not to mention those morning games in bed such as “tunnel” and “scarf”. Or the typical dog game of “sleeve, sleeve”.
In addition he’s also a great teacher/mentor — how to draw limits of your own territory, how to be loyal to his choices/decisions and how to pursue one’s dream. And knowing which company is just irreplaceable.I started drawing Žirnis when I was offered to take part in exhibitions in France during the pandemic. Along with my colleagues from the Drawing Box group, we decided we will record an object of choice in A5 format for 30 days, then select six works and display them in exhibitions. There wasn’t a single doubt in my head about what I should draw.
The best things are always close to find.
I mostly draw Žirnis in the morning, with a cup of coffee. To be honest, those morning sketches bring about so much pleasure and happiness, they bestow the simple presence of living in the moment, without posing or caprice(whim) and without attempting to dive deep into the unexplainable. However, if someone thinks all of this is too simple, I can say that it is also very complex. It’s the beauty of these lines which represent God’s creations, life itself and one’s living. These lines unwrap with ease and so there isn’t a desire to plaster words around them.
